#shayeveryday2013 Week 15 (plus some DWTS)

Day 99: It's the simple things that make a house a home.  For us, it's yummy soaps, a candle, cookbooks and a little chocolate (all grouped together!).

Day 100: Yay!  The perfect way to spend Day 100!  It was cold and rainy outside, so we stayed in and baked cookies together.  I just love this special time with my kids!

Day 101: Lunch with my sweet cousin Brooke

Day 102: Friday night spent at Chuck E. Cheese's.  I used to be cool...

Day 103: Smith's first time hitchhiking. He knew Lovie was in the car somewhere behind him, so he asked if we could pull over (on her street) and let him catch a ride.

Day 104: Sunday lunch with my boys :)

Day 105: Trying to shop at the mall with Sheaffer is not that easy with our 3 crazy kids.  The people at Gap were happy to see us go...

Alright...let's talk about this for just a few seconds...

I was so, so, so impressed by Monday night's show!  I loved having some of my favorite pros back for Len's Side By Side Challenge.  I agreed with Carrie Ann...I think it made all of the competitors better!  At first, I cringed thinking there was no way someone could dance opposite a great like Maks or Anna without looking like a fool...but they proved me wrong!

I was also a little nervous about Sean doing the Quick Step. Even though he has fast feet from football, he wears a size 13 shoe...not exactly twinkle toes, but I was really proud!  He's improving every week...and isn't that the goal?!

I was a little surprised to see Ingo in the bottom 3 but not totally surprised to see D.L. go home.  I think he did such a great job and worked really hard to improve this last month (remember him from the first night?!?!), but it was probably his time.

Don't forget, Sheaffer has her complete DWTS recap up on Pinterest Told Me To!

Have a great day everyone!!  XOXO

  1. GAP should hate us....but we ARE some of their best customers! :)

  2. Love the hitchhiking pic! Too cute!

  3. Great photos! I hope you and your family and friends are all safe in Texas! Just reading about the explosion. :(

  4. I feel for you in that Chuck E. Cheese pic. We ventured to that dastardly place a few weeks back. Sort of looking forward to our youngest growing out of it! :)

  5. I love the picture of Smith hitch hiking. That is so cute! What was your mom's reaction?

I bought a Dancing with the Stars workout DVD, so I have a new found respect for what your brother is doing. =) It's way harder than it looks!

  6. HAHAHA "I used to be cool."

I think you underestimate what Chuck can do for your street cred. :)

  7. Great photos!
Every time I take my kids shopping, I wonder how happy that the clerks are to see us leave!

  8. I was all about what you had to say, until I saw the chicken.....and then I went off to lala land. Looking at that makes me want to dig out the ole' bikini, plop myself on a big float in the pool, and listen to Kenny Chesneys " Sweet Summertime " So, in other words, totally a summer meal. and not to mention one pretty lookin' meal!!

Ps. Love the stripped shirt for your Cousin lunch date. Do I dare ask where you got it from? I can probably go out on a limb here, and say.... Gap! hehe.

  9. I love reading your blog, always full of great ideas. I just started my own blog it's about being a wife, mom, and life ( with lots of in betweens) I would love if anyone would want to stop bye and take a look. Thanks in advance.
